Since technology and Web 2.0 evolve very fast, it can be difficult to keep up sometimes. I find it intersting that new things emerge, some may say they have no real value and are just social in nature, but then someone starts using it for marketing and the world follows suit. Following closely behind are those who can figure out how to use these skills to reach their students, which is great. The rate at which Web 2.0 is advancing is going to make it difficult for those without solid computer skills to be able to keep up in the future job market. I hope we, as educators, can acquire the needed tools and training to be able to prepare our students for an ever-changing web world.
